You will find here our two most recent Section 48 Inspection Reports. These are inspections commissioned by the Bishop as part of a national inspection framework to evaluate our effectiveness as a Catholic school.
Whilst our 2017 report evaluated us an outstanding Catholic school, the framework under which the 2024 inspection was undertaken is part of a new, far more challenging national inspection regime. That said, seven of the nine judgements were outstanding – more than any other high school in the Diocese. We only just missed being outstanding overall as a result of not academising in line with the Bishop’s vision for education – a decision taken by the Governors so as to protect the education and wellbeing of our children.
