Community Projects

Our work to highlight the issues of Bullying affecting mental health have been rewarded with the award of Most sustainable project by Lancashire Minds.

Cardinal Allen High School students work tirelessly within our community. We are involved in many projects around the Fleetwood area.  Currently our students are actively involved with the 'Larkholme for All' initiative developing links with the Wyre Disability centre and are working with Fleetwood council looking after planters in the town. Our students continue to take a significant role in the Memorial Park Redevelopment and Healthy Fleetwood initiative, currently working on a Dementia project 'Playing on Memories.'

Our community IT group meet every Tuesday 3.05- 4.05pm. Our students along with older members of the community work on projects that develop their IT skills. This year we have worked on the following projects;

Memories a dementia awareness project
My Favourite country an International awareness project
e-mailing and Coding, IT development projects
Fleetwood history, a community project

We are always looking for new members. If you know of anyone who may benefit from some IT training contact Mr Harding

Our Interact group are linked with North Fylde Rotary Club. This year we have raised monies for Charities through various activities including 'The Big Bake Off', Sponsored 'Fancy Dress walk', Sleepover Father Christmas Sleigh Collection and Community Christmas Tree. We are currently working on a water project with our partner school in Kenya.

The group meet every Monday lunchtime.
