Appeals

On the 1st March 2022 all Local Authorities informed parents of the secondary school their child has been allocated. Not all parents will necessarily have received their first choice of school. For September 2022 the full allocation of 166 student places has been made at Cardinal Allen Catholic High School. If your child has not been allocated a place at Cardinal Allen and you would like to try to secure a place for them, please follow the process below. We would strongly advise you not to reject the place at the school your child has been allocated until you hear the outcome of the Appeal process.

Secondary School Appeals - Lancashire County Council

By the 21st March 2022

Appeal forms to be completed online in order for the appeals to be heard in the first round of hearings (May 2022).

 Any additional documents that parents/carers wish to provide (i.e. medical evidence or baptismal certificate) should be sent with the Appeals Form or hard copies given to the School Office for the attention of Mrs Sales.

From week commencing 9th May 2022

Appeals that have been submitted by 21st March 2022 will be heard by an Independent Appeals Panel.
